AIR GRANT 2002-2003, District 12
Exhibition of Pinhole Photography and Portraits at the
Tarzana Treatment Centers Youth Services Building

OPENING RECEPTION: THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 4 - 6 PM
Dates: June 24 - July 27, 2004

This work was funded by the Artist-In-Residence Grant Program of the City of Los Angeles' Cultural Affairs Department, and created at Monroe High School in the Northridge section of the San Fernando Valley, City Council District 12. I taught a class in pinhole cameras and portrait photography for residents of the Tarzana Treatment Centers Transitional Housing Program. Together, the participants built pinhole cameras that they used to create images, including self-portraits and portraits of significant people in their lives.
